About Red Rhino
At Red Rhino, we started with a simple idea. Work smarter, while still working harder than everyone else, and you can deliver your clients everything they want and more importantly, everything they need. It didn’t take us long in our individual careers to figure out that clients today need unique solutions and innovative thinking to solve their problems and not a one size fits all solution from a box off the shelf. Creativity and the willingness to do the hard work that others are often unwilling to do are the cornerstones of our company and what give us the ability to create ways to please our partners.
Some believe that the days of the customer being number one have gone by the way-side. Some think we have gotten to a place where we are forced to live with tired and failed tactics, poor customer service and a place where a lack of creativity has become commonplace. A place of short term gains that almost always ends up in long term failure. A place where companies try to fit their canned solution to the client, instead of understanding and creating a solution that is unique to the client. This is not a place Red Rhino wants to be a part of… it’s a place we all came from and wanted to get away from. A place where the customer didn’t seem to matter anymore.
Perhaps Mahatma Ghandi said it best: “A customer is the most important visitor on our premises, he is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so.”
Each day we live this principle. This company was brought together by three partners with similar values and similar backgrounds which preached integrity, honesty and hard work. We were taught that while doing what you said you were going to do is admirable, not doing so is unacceptable. It sounds old school, but our clients will tell you that today it is refreshing and exciting to find a company that actually looks out for their best interest, comes up with solutions-based ideas for their problems and always does the right thing for the client. How sad that those qualities in an agency have become so rare.
Of course, we cannot do any of this without having great people, so we have built an internal culture of hiring the best, the brightest, the most talented individuals in their field, hiring like-minded individuals wanting to be a part of something truly special. Hiring only those who are willing to work harder, work smarter and never stop challenging themselves and their clients to get better, so that in the end we too will continue to have the opportunity to work with the best…You, our customer.
